As consumers we are officially on STRIKE!
Today like any other normal day we decided to eat our "breakfast" at McDonald's. However this time we decide to go through the drive thru instead of going inside. Upon ordering our #1 combo meals we are told that we can not have the combo meal and it will be extra for us to order sweet tea.
WHAT!? This has never been the case before. All the millions of times we have wandered INSIDE to eat or order our combo value meals WITH sweet tea.
So, McDonald's. We are going on strike. I do not care if you are the only restaurant open and my only chance of not starving to death. This is the last strike in the many heart aches and head aches that you have given me.
McDonald's, you are dead to us!
Sounds like the McD folks had their panties in a bunch. You probably had a newbie. All the same, if you don't go you might find a new breakfast haunt that's better. :}

ReplyDeleteLyn: we seem to always have issues with that McDonald's. Like the time we ordered MEDIUM sized milkshakes, they gave us smalls and said they only CARRIED smalls...
ReplyDeleteBayjb: we did, that's what blew me up. THE MANAGER said that no way no how are we able to get Iced Tea with the meals without paying extra. When we said that we get it all the time when we order IN instead of Drive Thru they basically called us liars. So we told them and we did write a letter to corporate telling them of our dislike and strike.
Another stupid act by another stupid fast-food restaurant. Ugh... They are idiots! Apparently they do not want your business.
ReplyDeleteThese things happen because most employees there have an I.Q. no higher than room temperature. If they don't want your business it's their loss. Boo to McDonalds for being A-holes!
ReplyDeleteupdate: they responded back to my man's email with a copy/paste response of "we're sorry you were unhappy with our promotional offerings .... McDonald's strives to ensure thier customers' happiness and we are thankful that you sent us your compaint..." etc.
