dilema after dilema

i was going to go back to work on the 28th as most of you know.

and the doc specifically said "no inventory" on my letter. and he verbally told me "i don't want you doing anything that isn't sitting at your work desk and walking around occasionally...

i was like "woo hoo" i get to go back to work! and i was shouting it from the roof tops and shit...

then i got a letter this morning from Homer saying that "no inventory" is not a physical limitation and that I can use a chair or something and sit and do inventory... wtf are you kidding me? the DR said, ugh anyways.

so i call Taranis up when i'm all upset and he says that maybe we should wait until the end of october. and i call the Dr and he's in surgery today and his nurse will call me back but he'll probably revoke my ability to return to work in 2 weeks.

so i'm in tears and i'm frustrated. i hate my job i really do. i was hoping that maybe this small break would be a good thing and i'd want to go back... ya know absence makes the heart grow fonder? well, Pic didn't want to go back and I'm sure it was because of Homer and now I don't want to go back and I guarantee you its because of Homer!

I talked to Hal and she said that maybe I should look for another job... Maybe I should have been looking for another job this whole time! But who wants to hire someone who is on FMLA leave? sigh. I guess technically they can't...

All I know is I need to work. I need some form of income. Just Taranis' doesn't cut it and I need the insurance (for obvious reasons).

The next 2 weeks money wise is the hardest. But we'll be ok. And I'm going to let the Doc revoke my back to work order and I'll up the check up date becuase my FMLA runs out the 28th of Oct and that's my next appointment with him. I'll have to be back before then... So when his office calls tomorrow to tell me they faxed the revocation letter I'll have them reschedule to a week prior.

I need to find another job in 6 weeks. A job that I can physically do and the doc let me off FMLA early and I can use Cobra while I wait for the benefits of the new job to kick in. If not I'll have to stick it out with Homer and them people (which I honestly don't want to do)...
