just for the hell of it last night I did a google search on my email address... oh yea. my blog, website, flickr, photobucket, sneezy profile...everything showed up. even my witchvox profile but crazy as it is, the LiveJournal did not. sigh. so i wonder if maybe these people are like "hey lets google email addies of people who send in thier resumes and if thier stupid enough to attach it to thier 'real' self we'll know to keep from calling them"... Joe says maybe not, he doubts they do that... I don't doubt it one bit!
So, I have an email account that I created long ago and it still works and it's more professional anyways because it uses my name and not my alias and as you can see on this thing i don't use my real name (last name that is -- there are thousands of jennifers/jennys/jens in chicagoland) ..I'm just gonna have to remember to check it! and i've already figured my internet settings to make the hotmail default intead of yahoo... so cross your fingers maybe i'll get some responses now!
today was a full day: i got up and took joe to work, went to my bank and got a letter for Hephaestus & Dreams notarized sent that out and went to my Mechanic... I love him I have A/C now. I owe him more money (gotta love the fact he'll give me credit and i can pay out my shit to him) but I have A/C and it's freakin COLD in the blazer now *YAY* no more hot and sweaty and nasty!... now it's time to clean the damn thing out... maybe.
This weekend! My BBQ for my Birthday on the 13th. Gotta a few folks comming over *YUMMY* On Saturday we're going to be tourists in Chicago *SO MUCH FUN* and on Sunday! Oh yea, we're GOING TO SIX FLAGS GREAT AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how sweet is that shit? yea, i thought so too, bitch! *laughing*

Ok so like i have a CD/Alarm/Radio jobbie in the bedroom and I have a 5 disc changer/radio in the living room... I also have a KICKASS set of computer speakers (with subwoofer) that were just rusting in the corner because we finally threw out the old desktop (yea it wasn't worth keep around and it wouldn't turn on anymore....maybe I shoulda mailed it to Hephaestus and said here, take it...maybe you can parts it or something) so i ended up grabbing all the stuff off the hardrive and pitching the rest of it.... ok so my point is i didn't have a "use for" the KICKASS sound system... Yes I do! We have laptops (obviously) so I have set up the speakers behind the couch (it sounds SOGOOD) and the cord is long enough for me to plug it into my laptap. *DANCES AROUND* so i get to listen to my FAVE music today while cleaning up the house and stuff...

Employers absolutely do use google (or other searches) on people. It is exceedingly common (though not universal).
