accounting supervisor was suppose to pick me up some stuff on chicago when she was at the visitors center and said there is lots of free stuff to do down there... well she never did. i guess she forgot? so my question is, i need help! what do we do/where do we go on Saturday?
Our plan is to wake up early and catch a train downtown and start from there. I know I want to go back to the Navy Pier, but where else should we go? And do you know of a good website to find a decent map of sites to see? (and maybe the prices of these places)
“...So do we pass the ghosts that haunt us later in our lives; they sit undramatically by the roadside like poor beggars, and we see them only from the corners of our eyes, if we see them at all. The idea that they have been waiting there for us rarely if ever crosses our minds. Yet they do wait, and when we have passed, they gather up their bundles of memory and fall in behind, treading in our footsteps and catching up, little by little.”--Stephen King

The museum and Millennium Park are always solid choices. The Tourism and Visitor's Bureau is a great choice of where to get maps and costs. Window shopping on Michigan Avenue is fun too, tourists and street acts are usually out.

A lot of the stuff - enough to make for a full day or weekend - is "walking distance" from the train stations (if you have fairly healthy, not-too-old people and decent weather - let's say no more than a couple of miles)
