and i'm sick of it! all you people who decide to go swimming or do your 2 hour workout 30 minutes before i lock my doors make me ill. can't you read? i know it was you who called and asked how much longer we'd be open. i remember your voice. don't think i'm stupid and your just making yourself look like an idiot when i tell you that you only have 20 minutes to work out and you flabber around like a fish and try to tell me that you didn't know it closes at 10, that you thought it was open all night or until 1am even! how stupid do you think i could possibly be? i was born at night honey but not lastnight and i'm not a fucking idiot so stop trying to act like i'm an idiot. and stop asking me to extend hours because your lazy ass decided at the last minute to swim or work out, it's not going to happen. i have a life too and i have to be up early in the morning too and i appreciate my sleep that's so precious so i don't become an idiot like you due to lack of sleep.
and to you regulars... don't you think i know your little game? your with the guests of the resort. you wait until the last possible minute to come and do your swim routine and workout series. YOU as a member having been told by ME on MANY occasions to please try to come in earlier if you KNOW your going to do a 2 hour routine you might want to come in at 8pm and not 9pm. you know i wont extend hours and you know its going to do nothing but create tension between us if i have to constantly remind you and tell you to get out the pool and if i'm constantly having to sit behind my desk and clocking out later than i should be because you KNOW my doors are suppose to be locked by 10pm yet you don't crawl your ass out of the pool until 5 after and take 20 minute showers. YOU as a regular member of the recreation center should damn well know better and be more respectful.
...........aka i am so tired of working at that place.... new wardrobe here we come, more professional clothes here we come.......dream job i'm looking for you! now would be the perfect time to fall into my lap...
“...So do we pass the ghosts that haunt us later in our lives; they sit undramatically by the roadside like poor beggars, and we see them only from the corners of our eyes, if we see them at all. The idea that they have been waiting there for us rarely if ever crosses our minds. Yet they do wait, and when we have passed, they gather up their bundles of memory and fall in behind, treading in our footsteps and catching up, little by little.”--Stephen King

this is indeed where public contact/service positions tend to blow.
