and I met an old "friend" from back home! yeaup, sitting there at my desk and some people come to go bowling and me and this guy strike up a conversation and guess what?! our highschools are rivals (He's Booneville; Logan County--we're Clarksville; Johnson County) and he graduated around the same year I did, his wife went to my school, I "knew of her" and him ofcourse, we all look familair because you know, football games you see everyone and you end up going to the same muddin holes (muddin, see 4x4 trucks playin in the mudholes). so that was a bright spot to my weekend.
My Joey-bear is leaving in a few days for the visit to momma. I'm getting better with this. I'm ok. I'm gonna drop him off at the airport on Thursday and pick him up Monday morning. And we can spend the whole day Monday together.
I don't have anything planned while he's gone. Just help Bama move some stuff either Sat or Sunday and spend the night with her the night before to help save on time and gas.
I was trying not to take one of the "special" advils tonight. (the one with the sleeping agent) but i guess I might have to. here it is midnight and it's like i'm wide awake. and ofcourse it's gonna take a good 15-20 minutes to kick in. once it does I feel all kinds of loopey and fall asleep nice and easy. now the problem with that is, I'm not gonna want to wake up and do what needs doing around this house. super tuesday: laundry, vacuum, dust and your all in all general DEEP CLEAN.
ok, time to face the inevitable, i'm going to take a "special" advil, smoke a cig and try to get some sleep. and slap myself because I didn't write TeeJ again today. He's joined the Army and he's in bootcamp right now. *BAD JENNY! slaps her hand*
“...So do we pass the ghosts that haunt us later in our lives; they sit undramatically by the roadside like poor beggars, and we see them only from the corners of our eyes, if we see them at all. The idea that they have been waiting there for us rarely if ever crosses our minds. Yet they do wait, and when we have passed, they gather up their bundles of memory and fall in behind, treading in our footsteps and catching up, little by little.”--Stephen King
