well, our tv is scheduled to arrive tonight, so i'm waiting for it to get here. i'm so excited! in the meanwhile i'm cooking kielbasa (again). i believe this is the 3rd week in a row we've had it via special request from my lovey dovey.
i've been in and out of "office relations" meetings all day today. our, i'm not sure exactly what his title is, guy is trying to make things as nice and smoothly as possible. things are going better. i wasn't trained well at all. i'm getting frustrated that certain people in the office think that i should have been able to jump right into the situation and know everything. wrong, i don't. yes i have lots of office experience, HOWEVER, i don't have any peachtree experience and i don't have thier database program experience either. it's getting better. i'm learning more and more things everyday that i should have been taught to begin with and it's a little frustrating to have to make myself notes so that when i go back to something again (always because in the end you have to cut the check) and do some things over. its just annoying and the manager/supervisor guy knows this and he's working with me on it. so its all good, its a learning experience for everyone and we had a nice long 2 hour talk about it today and i feel alot better about it all.
other than that, i'm gonna finish up dinner and maybe write a little more later.
“...So do we pass the ghosts that haunt us later in our lives; they sit undramatically by the roadside like poor beggars, and we see them only from the corners of our eyes, if we see them at all. The idea that they have been waiting there for us rarely if ever crosses our minds. Yet they do wait, and when we have passed, they gather up their bundles of memory and fall in behind, treading in our footsteps and catching up, little by little.”--Stephen King
