1 more weekend to go

and its ONE of the worst weekends at the spa/resort being the weekend of valentines.

not really much to report on. as you can see we got our couch. we're going to shoot for this weekend to get the tv & entertainment center. i think he said we're going with a 42" (inch) widescreen HD compatable with our PS3. alot of money but definatly worth it in the end. I've never had a nice tv like that before and i'll be really happy to have it. we also have cable tv set up to be installed this weekend as well. i guess that's our valentines day presents to ourselves. him the tv and me the console/center that we're buying for it.

we're shooting for the middle of may to go down to arkansas and get the rest of my stuff out of storage. my couch and some other stuff that is there i'm handing off to Pebbles (one of my little sisters) and her husband Neopolitan.

daddy told me that Raquel's been practicing bow & arrow with her husband, Hunter. She's been practicing alot and preparing to enter into some competitions. (she wont go hunting and kill the animal, she tries hard to be a vegetarian but breaks down and eats meat, but she wont kill the poor things) so anyways, Hunter and her enrolled into a competition and last weekend she scored 1st place. daddy said that Hunter was strutting around like a rooster in a hen house just as proud as could be. chuckle, well with him teaching her to shoot he has every right to be proud!

its hurts to breathe when i go outside. i hate this weather. it wont stop snowing and its eating away at my sanity. they said on the radio friday on my way to work that there has only been 11 minutes of sunshine in the chicagoland area for all of february already, that's a record low. i know the sunshine came out today but it did nothing but blind me while driving. didn't drive away the cold.

these first few weeks at the new job has been rough. they have alot of "new people" that have came aboard and people who have retired and things are changing around, its been insane. ontop of moving into a new location and that building isn't finished like it was suppose to have been. i wanted to just walk out a few times but held myself steady. if i can keep myself from taking some smart mouthed kid and/or thier parent by the head of thier hair and slamming thier head into a concrete wall i think i can handle a stressful high paced job that makes me wanna rip my hair out sometimes. my new bosses (not the owner/president) said that it'll get better. we just need to live for the weeks that Owner is out the country on business so things can run smoothly and brace ourselves for the periods (thankfully short periods) when he is intown and messes everything up. gotta love that, huh?

ok, its late and i'm tired and i have a long day ahead of me tomorrow. i just realized that me and OfficeManager didn't get something done by tomorrow (Monday) that we were suppose to get done and I have a feeling that Owner is not going to be too happy about it. BUT! I know that CEO will back us up because we're both relatively new and still trying to get settled and learn the ropes. Me being there only 2 weeks and OfficeManager being there only 2 weeks longer that I have and neither one of us was trained properly by the leaving parties.

  1. Oh and you might want to be careful about how one characterizes one's employers on a publicly accessable site.

  3. I fell across it from some guy's site in New Zealand (referring to some silly 'practicing witchcraft and learning to be a lesbian' line or some such goofy off-kilter quip).

    Anything can happen.
