Kennel won't accept hamsters. Cost 25-50 a day for the cat... Sigh.
In-home pet sitter is going to come in for 30 minutes and give him a treat, make sure his water is fresh and I want them to check on the hamsters and that extra $$$ and that's $20 for each pet... So $60 a day for 30 minutes... WTF!
I've had this problem before. When i just had one Yorkie it cost me $160 to bring her on the flight at the last min. Now that I have 2 Yorkies we just drive everywhere with most recent trip being an 11 hour drive to DC for xmas. That way you know what's going on with your animals b/c I don't trust the in home sitters and like you see it aint cheap! Good luck
