“...So do we pass the ghosts that haunt us later in our lives; they sit undramatically by the roadside like poor beggars, and we see them only from the corners of our eyes, if we see them at all. The idea that they have been waiting there for us rarely if ever crosses our minds. Yet they do wait, and when we have passed, they gather up their bundles of memory and fall in behind, treading in our footsteps and catching up, little by little.”--Stephen King

freakin criminy
are you serious? are you kidding me? wont say the pledge of allegiance and they want him in office?!! that should be a criteria for being our President. If you can't say the pledge of allegiance and you can't..speachless..i can understand the not swearing on a bible, I'm not christian (and i'm not anti christian either so lets just get that out of the way right now) but seriously, the rest of this shit...
oh never mind forget anything i ever said about maybe voting for Obama... Now that It's either Him or McCain I guess I'm either going to abstain from Voting or go for McCain... I can't vote for someone who refuses to do such things as stand by our country and pledge their allegiance to our country.. How in Hades did this man even become a candidate?
I really hope there is someone else on our Ballot, an alternative to McCain and Obama.

Wow indeed. Although in the intersts of accuracy, it was Rep. Ellison, Democrat (of course) of Minnesota that used the Koran for his oath of office.
ReplyDeleteObama was until recently United Chuch of Christ (also referred to as Universalists Considering Christ) at a church that taught B;ack Liberation Theology (esssentially racism mixed with Marxism (mis)using Christian terminology.
