just got back from my walk a little bit ago. My goal was to do an hour. I ended up with about 30 mins. I figured that's pretty good and don't want to push myself too fast and end up hurting myself somehow. and i had to pee REALLY bad! damn cold weather.
i need to figure out a longer stretch to keep it up for an hour. i have an idea tho. the next few days i'll keep doing 30 and then I'll work my way up to 45 and then an hour. heck, in about a month (?) i should be up to 2 hours and since I'm not working during the week (except maybe a few mornings here and there) there should be no reason as to why I shouldn't beable to walk 2 hours a day. now THAT should get rid of this stupid fucking self-hatred I have going on that I mentioned before. and I'll keep trying to do my crunches. Getting rid of the flabbiness and fat isn't going to do any good if its not toned. walking will take care of my legs. Crunches should do the trick on my tummy.... by my arms! my arms! anyone got any good suggestions for my arms?
i've eliminated soda from my daily intake. i've been drinking nothing but water. last night I had 1/2 a glass of tea. This has been going on for about a week now. time to start looking at what i eat, the portions/amounts and start cutting back on that as well.
here's to having a bathingsuit body by the time I go on my weekend trip to Arkansas in May! I don't want to just lounge around the house while I'm there. I want to show Taranis around our old hangout spots, I want Suga to come with us. I want to go swimming out on the lake just once while we're there. and If I can fit into that bikini I was wearing before I moved up here, I'd be a very very happy camper! and if I can remember how to get to King's Canyon I want to show Taranis that as well. I'd call up Hades and ask if he'd want to come along (he never misses a trip to KC and would remember how to get there) but I don't think him and Taranis would get along...who knows, maybe they would? That's alright. Spadra should be just fine and not too many people are out there during the day in May.
we'll see! I'm so excited now.
“...So do we pass the ghosts that haunt us later in our lives; they sit undramatically by the roadside like poor beggars, and we see them only from the corners of our eyes, if we see them at all. The idea that they have been waiting there for us rarely if ever crosses our minds. Yet they do wait, and when we have passed, they gather up their bundles of memory and fall in behind, treading in our footsteps and catching up, little by little.”--Stephen King

Got any Kiwi in you?
ReplyDeleteGood idea. Just keep up the exercise routine and you'll make nice progress over time (if you combine it with eating a little better and a little less).
ReplyDeleteI have some kiwi in me (along with some melon and strawberries).
Now if you people could graps the concept that what you called "kiwi" was infact firstly "kiwifruit" or more correctly Chinese Gooseberries and that "kiwi" means someone from New Zealand then my random attempts at vulgar set ups would be a lot easier to pull off!
ReplyDeleteThe correct response is "No I don't" To which I get to reply "would you like a bit then?"
See it was rude and mildly amusing but the NZ apple and pear marketing board has wrecked it for all of us.
[sigh]
i'm allergic to kiwi
