all's quiet in the halls of the dead...

I can't remember what movie/book that quote is from but it's one of my favorite ever. Invitation to our house(condo)-warming party (when we get our furniture) to the 1st person to answer correctly.... (haha yea right i'm gonna invite some stranger to my house!)

so anyhoot. like I said the other day we got ourselves a condo. We signed the lease today. we go and start moving in this weekend. I plan on starting my packing this week. all the stuff that i know we can live without til friday/saturday. we go friday afternoon to pick up the keys. I figured we could spend most of the day saturday & sunday before I go to work moving stuff (not that we have alot to move in 2 days but it's going to consist of packing up boxes, taking them to the condo, unloading boxes and then packing them up with more stuff from here...) our internet wont be moved over until Monday. I tried for saturday but it was Friday or Monday they don't move services on the weekends. Then I'll probly spend most of next week between interviews and trying to settle as best as possible. With no furniture it's going to be a bit rough at first but we'll make it til we get to arkansas and into my storage shed.

We did some federal thing today... For a college grant I think? anyways, i have to contact DuPage College now and register with them. I have no idea what i'm doing. I'm glad that Taranis knows what I'm doing! between everything that's going on, us moving, trying to find a job AND trying to go back into college. I can't believe this! hopefully DuPage accepts me. they have all 3 courses that I want to take and I don't want to jump from University to University.

Sigh, juggling a fulltime job, a partime job and college at the same time I fear is going to be rather difficult but if my baby sister Raquel can do it, then so can her big sister! I just know that I havn't been accepted, i havn't even applied to dupage yet so I'm not going to think too far ahead into anything. right now my to do list is this: 1- apply at DuPage, 2- get extra income, 3- get my shit from storage. everything else is not so important at this point in time... Once I get those 3 things done then everything else will fall nicely into place. (oh yes, and my plan to lose weight... was doing good until in the course of about 10 hours I ate a whole large freaking pizza from Dominos... and ofcourse the fact that we were so busy looking at places and running around we ate alot of fast food this week. so it was a bad week for dieting. but next week and the week beyond... all will fall into place --and hopefully fall off my ass)
