“...So do we pass the ghosts that haunt us later in our lives; they sit undramatically by the roadside like poor beggars, and we see them only from the corners of our eyes, if we see them at all. The idea that they have been waiting there for us rarely if ever crosses our minds. Yet they do wait, and when we have passed, they gather up their bundles of memory and fall in behind, treading in our footsteps and catching up, little by little.”--Stephen King

13 lbs
not the best pic, took it with my cellphone in the mirror. better ones soon, i hope.
20 more lbs and i'll be at the weight i was when i moved up here. just 20 more.
30 more after that i'll be at my pre-marriage weight. 30 more after that i'll be at my pre-hephaestus weight. my goal is pre-hephaestus: about 140 lbs.
we're talking 80 total lbs. well, i lost that much when i got divorced so there is no reason why i can't go the extra mile and lose 80 more. (yes, i was nearly 300 lbs at one point in time)

Keep it slow and steady, and go for it. Stay away from the fads (up the exercise and shift the food to better stuff and reasonable calorie load). Try not to get too hung up on the numbers (focus on the feel, and how you're looking). Good luck! krm
