P.S.

Out of 8 people they auditioned, i was #2 in the top picks. so obvoiusly that means they chose someone else. they said i have a great voice and to keep it up that i will find my own band soon.

cheers to being ditched, again, for someone else. altho, i'm not mad i'm actually more hopeful than ever that i will have my own band by the end of the year because of all the awesome connections i've made in the music industrie here in chicago.

now, my drunk ass is going to bed.

HAPPY ST PATRICKS DAY! and i know i'm a little late for that but who fuckin cares, green beer kicks ass.

  1. Condolences, and congratulations too. Our comments strike me as a good attitude about this adventure.

I hope the next opportunity rolls around quickly, and that it is the one that clicks.

  2. I am very proud of myself and the way I'm handing the whole situation. I'd love to go see thier show on the 31st and see who they have for thier front person (aka singer) but I have to work. Altho the good thing is that the band HeadRush will be there and I'm good friends with thier Drummer and Singer/Guitarist so I'll get the full scope of the entire show anyways *smiles*

I'd personally just like to go and have fun for once, but working these weekends its impossible. Tuesday night I'm really going to be stretching shit thin tho because I told HeadRush I'd go to an open mic night they are hosting down town and Its going to be going late and I have to wake up early.

the things we do for our friends!

  3. Hey, you're still under 30 - a veritable kid. You ought to still be able to pull the occasional all-nighter. I was able to do them now and then until about 40 or so (of course, now I view it a challenge to stay up for all of one day - so I guess tha all-nighter ability goes down hill real quickly once the slide starts).

It may also be better to get the second hand review of the band (and the noe front person).
