So, All morning I've sat here looking thru the yellow pages calling Tire Places and Tow People.
My scenario: I have 2 flat tires. 1 is in the bed of my truck, 2nd is on my truck. I need to bring in 1 get it fixed, someone follow me to my truck and replace tire 2 with tire 1. Then, I need said person to fix tire 2 back at thier shop.
Every fucking place I've called (minus one) has said absolutely no way. Have it towed in. THE FUCK!? Dude, do you not understand its 60 fucking dollars just to hook it up, on top of XXX amount of dollars a mile depending on the company!
And the real bitch here is the 1st place I called is literally right across the street from where my truck is. And THEY said no! Even after confirming they could look out thier damn shop door and see my fucking truck! AND THEY COULD SEE THE FLAT FROM THERE!
*UGH*
So, I've finally found a place that said he would do it. All of the above that I need, for a fee. I said "Anything's better than a tow truck raping me of my money and if you could so seriously help me out and be cool with it, you've gained my business and the business of any and all friends that I tell to go to you" and I fucking mean it.
about an hour ago Crystal & I go to get my tire. We take it to the shop. He's trying to find the leak. The damn water froze to the tire (its been sitting in neg degree weather all night and its barely above zero now) so, we have to wait for it to warm up. We are now taking showers while we wait for his coworker to come so he can go with us to get the truck & replace tires. I just got out of mine. Then we go back to the tire place. He'll give me the verdict on tire1. Then we go and either A-but tire1 back on truck or B-put another tire on truck to replace tire2. Then we drive the truck back to his shop while he works on tire2.
*sigh*
this is some fucking bullshit. I find out who's causing me all these problems and thier going to get a tire iron up thier fucking ass.
“...So do we pass the ghosts that haunt us later in our lives; they sit undramatically by the roadside like poor beggars, and we see them only from the corners of our eyes, if we see them at all. The idea that they have been waiting there for us rarely if ever crosses our minds. Yet they do wait, and when we have passed, they gather up their bundles of memory and fall in behind, treading in our footsteps and catching up, little by little.”--Stephen King
