Looks like I'm jumpin on the bandwagon

For the "Next Gen of Consoles". I'm not going to be getting a Wii. Its pointless to me since my faved games are on the Playstation. Yeap. That's right. I'm going to trade in my trusty old PS2 for a PS3. When? I'm not exactly sure yet. My goal is to have it to give to myself as a 27th birthday gift.

I've spent the past 8 hours at the Spa going through all the Game Informer magazines that I have that ran some sort of Article (in depth article) on the PS3. I'm sold. And it wasn't really GI that sold me. It was that Blu-Ray vs HDDVD deal. My DVD player is not Blu-Ray comptable but is HDDVD. So I figure I'm 1 step ahead of the game, right? RIGHT?!! I hope so. And the XBoX360 is worthless to me. Any game that I'd want is on either both the X & PS or just the PS.

Sorry fellas, but HALO or HALO2 does nothing for me. I have an ex (not Hephaestus, this was after the husband years) who use to play it all the time. watching him and his buddies go at it was interesting to say the least, but it was not for me to play myself. I'd rather watch, like with the NFL & NHL sports games. I'd rather watch it than play it.

And I use to be that way with FF and I'm thinking I wanna start playing Final Fantasy again. And what better way to kick off a new system than getting FF & MK Armegeddon? Instead of watching my friends play FF I think I'll just start playing again. Then again, I also need time to play Sneezy Mud as well. And since my Super Nintendo is now officially dead, and I can't play the Mortal Kombats I have for it any more, it only makes sense that I get Armegeddon which has the best of the past rolled into one final game. FUCKIN yea man, that is gonna kick some ass I can't wait to buy it.

Looks like I either a-need to get a life or b-lose what little 'life' I have? I've never really been a hardcore gamer (unless you count the endless hours of Sneezy that I use to play 24/7 a few years back but have slowly slacked off on playin within the past year or so) but I do enjoy my games. And I miss them. I know enough and I've played enough that it landed me an Assistant Managers job at a Gaming store a few years back. (Stupidest thing I did was quit that job, but that's another story for another day)

GAMING WORLD HERE I COME..... again! I am such a nerd.
