Was so awesome.
Ok, I got a phone call while I was at work. And they asked me out for drinks... Ok, we went out lastnight. Got a late start, and he got lost finding my house. He lives about 30 mins away and not familair with this area. So, Anyways...
We go out to Crossroads lastnight for thier Karaoke. We're doing Tequila shots and I'm having rum N coke. We did a shot of something else, but I don't remember what it was... But it was good. We had an excellent time. I was debating on singing, so I grabbed one of the books and I'm thumbing through it while he's in the washroom. He comes back and says 'you gonna sing?' and i'm all 'maybe i'm not sure' and he's like 'let me pick the song' and he took the book. He decided on Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams". I warned him, I've never sang that song before for Karaoke. Got up there and went I did... Oh wow. I did awesome. He sat there grinning at me the entire time. It was great.
So, He helped me decide my 2 final songs. I knew already one of them was going to be Evanescence's "My Immortal". Wasn't sure on the other. I was wanting to do "Diamonds" by Nicole Kidman from the Moulin Rouge Soundtrack. But everyone was keptical on that one. So, its 'Sweet Dreams' and 'My Immortal'. The semi-finals competition is Tuesday. I can't wait. I'm so excited. And I so hope that... We'll call him DC. I so hope that DC will be there. So I can sing Sweet Dreams for him again.
Well, gotta get to work and laundry and stuff. Working from home today for the Firm and then off at 5 to the spa!
OH! How could I leave this out?! When he dropped me off at the house, I leaned over to give him a hug and he went straight for the Kill. It was great. We sat out in my driveway listening to a House/Remix version of Sweetdreams with a little Eminem thrown in. Its a great mix. One of his friends made it... So, we're sitting in his convertable. And kissing. Its oh so great. We kissed for it seemed like 15 mins. We stopped and he's like 'you'll call tomorrow, right?' and I'm like 'definatly' and I moved in to give him a peck on the cheek as I was opening the car door. And we ended up Kissing full fledged out again. Not for as long, like a minute. But still. I got goose bumps and tingles from it.

ReplyDeleteI'll keep those keypoints in mind when I post. However, thier are dirty little secrets and details I dont' give out in my open journal. Thier is alot of stuff that I can't say aloud that is posted in my private journal a select few are allowed to read.
However, if you consider the fact that I sometimes post lyrics, could that be considered a music episode?
