Fort Smith Times Record: "A Johnson County woman suspected of fatally drugging her 2-year-old daughter is scheduled to be arraigned July 14 in Johnson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of manslaughter.
Rebecca Montgomery was booked Wednesday into the Johnson County Detention Center on the charge, which was filed in connection with the Sept. 30 death of her daughter, Britny Montgomery, at a Coal Hill residence.
Fifth District Prosecuting Attorney David Gibbons said emergency personnel were dispatched to the residence in response to a call from a family member. They found Britny Montgomery lying dead in a bed, he said."
“...So do we pass the ghosts that haunt us later in our lives; they sit undramatically by the roadside like poor beggars, and we see them only from the corners of our eyes, if we see them at all. The idea that they have been waiting there for us rarely if ever crosses our minds. Yet they do wait, and when we have passed, they gather up their bundles of memory and fall in behind, treading in our footsteps and catching up, little by little.”--Stephen King

Just wanted to tell you I thought you had an interesting blog :-) I'll come back and read more for sure. As a side not, I bet you'd be happier in Memphis than Chicago (I lived in Nashville for years and am currently in St. Louis - the South is MUCH better, trust me...)
