In need of advice

OK, so like If you've ever been through my personal webspace then you all know how much stuff I have on there. I've literally been working on this page since...oh, forever. Since before Hephaestus and I met. Since I was in HighSchool. Thats going on about 7 years. No, I havn't always been with cox! lol. I started out on Angelfire. About 3 years ago (When we moved back to arkansas) I moved it to Cox.net which is our Internet Provider (Cable access, gotta love it!). Anyways, cox only allows 10megs of space per email address and you can have 7 addresses. Right now I have created Hephaestus's site, the business we're trying to get off the ground, and the Pagan Newsletter. Thats 4. All of these have content. I still have options for professional page for Hephaestus (To send with his resume and to post his resume online)which I have yet to activate and also one like that for me. Our roommate (is he still our roommate?) Jugalo also has that option.

Ok, now that you know that.. Here is what I want. I want a website called www.itunleashed.com (yes, I know I need to register the domain name first lol) and then host ALL of my other pages off of that one. so, whenever you goto my site instead of it being members.cox.net/gemini_twins its www.itunleashed.com/gemini (or something lol) and that would be awesome. I would finally have ITunleashed on the web as an ACTUAL prescence and not just a wish and dream, and hopefully start aquiring more clients. Who knows. But the whole thing is, I need space. And I can always make the pages for ITunleashed all business and store my pics on there under Gemini. Cuz let me tell ya, the .html does NOT at all take up any space! lol I could do that for a long time and still not reach my 10meg limit for personal.

SO, the advice that I need is this: DO you or someone you know have your own domain? If yes, who hosts this service? Are they reliable? What are the benefits of using them? I'm doing research, but I'm not so techy smart like my man. I know that some places charge you outrageous fees and others dont. I'm wary of giving someone my credit card information and they screw me over.

OK, so now that that is over with, you've (hopefully) looked at my site. You like what you see??? lol. And you've probly read the previous postings lastnight about how I fucked up. Well, here is how I fucked up...

I noticed when I went to check my account online that my "information" bar said that I was running low on space. I was like DAMN. What to do?? Well, I thought that I would be smart (DONT LAUGH AT ME) so, I thought I would be smart (Giggle) and open up an angelfire account again. (My old one had expired sometime ago) And I did. And after creating this account I moved ALL my pics to that angelfire account. I remapped all of my coding in my pages to reflect this change.... UHOH! In the preview browswer of my page editor, everything showed normally (Dont know why). So I save it all and I transfer everything to the cox site. I click on my IE gremlin and away I go to my site.... But I dont find my site. I see "This pic hosted by Angelfire.com" over and over and over and over again... OH MY GOD. What had I done?! Well, it took me nearly all night as it was to remap the code. OH FUCK. I had made a major major major booboo. I can't believe I did that... SO, I went looking through the backup files on Hephaestus's computer. Found most of them to be what the current was (alot of them havn't changed in years.. like spike's shrine and our wedding album) so that was good. I ftp'd those back to cox. And set on a mission. Trying to remember what I had done days before. And I think I got everything back up to current. I *think* (Dont laugh at me).

So, there you have it. My fuck up. Its funny, but its not. I was SO tired lastnight and exhausted today. I dreamed code when I took a nap. *SCREAM*

But ok, ya. SO.... I said Dont laugh at me! (I can't help it too, in the aftermath of it all, its hilarious. But my shoulders are killing me sitting at this computer forEVER last night-- Anyone wanna gimme backrub? *wink*)
