Still in Chicago

Lets see here, I think I should be a counselor or something like that. A positive speaker even. LOL. Well, its not funny. But anyways,....

Monday was uneventful just alot of cleaning as well as Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday.

Friday however was not so uneventful. We went out to the VFW and ate dinner. Then we went to Ringside which is a sports bar and they had karaoke. I was not in my best form. I did ok, but I guess I was just too tired to do any real good damage. Tonight I cooked dinner for the grandkid and C’sDad and then I went out with Crystal and Tazzie (mentor and her hubby) for drinks at Crossroads which is another sports bar. And then we went to thier house. I couldn't stay that long, but I had a good time anyways.

I'm starting to learn the area up here much faster than what I first thought I would. And I love driving the Chevy Venture. Its an awesome van. I said I would never own 2 things: a chevy and a van; but I would own this vehicle! rofl.

things are starting to calm down a little bit here. C’sDad isn't as depressed as when I first showed up. I hope I'm doing some good with my "pep" talks.

Hephaestus still hasn't found a job yet, not that he really has the opportunity to, watching the nephews all the time. I feel bad, he's taking on my responsibilities. But, I am the one bringing home the bacon *wink*. lol. Jugalo has had a few interviews, I really hope he and Hephaestus both get jobs real soon, because Ithink my time might be running short up here. We start looking for facilites on Monday for C’sDad to move into. The sooner the better that way he can't get better while he’s thinking and watching everything that is going on here. Its just making him more depressed. And once he gets into an apartment, then it’ll be easier to clear the house and sell it.
