Wow, boy has it been a trying and hectic. When I first arrived, Crystal's dad was in the hospital so I got to settle in first. He arrived back home today. He's depressed, and I can understand that. We have a long road ahead of us getting his life in order and getting him into a nice retirement village with assisted living. Not a nursing home, but a place where he can have his own stuff and live in a little apartment/community with others his age and be socialable again.
I'm gonna have to find a Karaoke place in Fort Smith when I get back. I blew the whole bar away lastnight singing the Dixie Chics and the song "redneck woman", can't remember the artist.
I've been having fun catching up with Crystal. She's my mentor and litterally we adopted eachother as sisters. Most everyone has heard me talk about her more than once or twice.
Well, its getting time to give C’sDad his medications, we have some busy weeks ahead of us. I'll try and write something in here every night or so. I might not beable to always post it to the web right away. She is on dialup and has limited time.
Love to you all,
Jen
“...So do we pass the ghosts that haunt us later in our lives; they sit undramatically by the roadside like poor beggars, and we see them only from the corners of our eyes, if we see them at all. The idea that they have been waiting there for us rarely if ever crosses our minds. Yet they do wait, and when we have passed, they gather up their bundles of memory and fall in behind, treading in our footsteps and catching up, little by little.”--Stephen King
