quickie or a tease? --maybe both?

thursday was suppose to be my last truck payment. never saw crystal all day so i was gonna do it friday, that was the firm's holiday party, not a good time to discuss personal issues. saturday i wake and gonna get it all taken care of, her niece is staying the night... sunday, never see her. today! they are actually here instead of out somewhere. i ask if she's got a minute. i need the title & bill of sale, does she have it ready like i asked her to have it last month. No. She wants the check. Nope not til i get the title & bill of sale. THEN! she's not going to release either to me unless we both go down the Currency Exchange and do it together. And I have to have the regstration and new tags by next check because Tazzie's is due and she's putting her personalized tags on his car. Again, I ask, Why was this not done last year? I asked for a contract and bill of sale at the end of December last year so it could be in my name and my insurance and we wouldn't be doing all of this now. But no. She never made the bill of sale (still to this 2 hours later has not made the bill of sale, laundry is so much more important than me going to the currency exchange and giving her her tags back). I told her that she needs to give me the bill of sale and the title today and I will go this week (if i can get 200 from Taranis) or use my christmas money next week and do it the night before i leave. I just spent 70 on insurance, gotta get that cancelled this month as well and in my name. Well, that's taken care of. Now I just need the 200 for registration & tags. Thankfully there is a currency exchange nearby and i can get it and get out without too much hassle either this weekend or next week thursday before I go out for the Spa's holiday party which is, ofcourse, the night before I leave.

*takes a deeeeeeeep breath*

so yea, i suggested last year when they bought Tazzie's new vehicle and it was decided that I was gonna buy the Blazer that they write up a contractual bill of sale stating that I owed $3,000 as the balance with monthly payments of $250 to end on December 2007. Then I could register in my name, get *my* plates & registration and insurance. But no. Wouldn't do it and I got tired of buggin about it because obviously they went and got other tags on his expedition. Stupidly simple shit turned into an all out fucking mountain because noone thinks! and i'm gonna be short fucking $200 when I go spend xmas with my family. Unless Taranis gives me the money and I'll just cover his part of the bills for the next month and call it even? I wish he'd get home already... *sigh*

ok! onto work! -- I got a promotion without the raise (i may have told you guys about this i don't recall) because we have a salary freeze (i told you it was getting bad) I'm in sales & marketing but ALSO! with my normal duties. (go figure, eh?) ok so anyways, I have this spreadsheet of leads that my Sales Supervisor writes on while he makes his notes on who to email on his behalf and send "about us" packages to (grunt work but i enjoy it). well, the way its done is that NO ONE is organized alphabetically. The newest leads go on the bottom (makes sense to me) and we have a tab for "dropped/deleted" like they are just blatanly ignoring us, etc. Well, these leads are nut just joeshmoes, they are project specific. So in the first column we have the project, 2nd location, 3rd company information, thier roll, etc. These folks do not have the proj info repeated, but the proj "groupings" are sepearted by a _________________ you know, anyways. I have to mail out these brochures. My initial mailout was like 60 people i think, between 50 and 60. Crystal said she wasn't busy and insisted on making the mailing labels. All fine and dandy. Until she started sorting in the area we were working in instead of copy/pasting into a new tab or file. So ALL! of the information was messed up. People had the wrong notes, last contacted information EVERYTHING. I tried extrenously thursday & friday to clean it up from an old print out and get everything back in order..... Low and behold they printed out a "current and correct" sheet today for the meeting and I got my ass in trouble. I guess I didn't fix as well as I thought. THANKFULLY! the sales supervisor/manager guy said "don't blame jenny we'll get it straight. if your gonna have jenny doing this stuff ONLY jenny needs to do these things and not Crystal or Owner1 or Harry, Dick, whoever". No one has appologized to me. I don't expect it. Things are really tense and tight like I've mentioned before.

ok, so i was slammed all day today, have a headache and she wants to play games with the bill of sale/registration. I tell you one thing right now, the check is not being handed over until i have them both and she will have her tags back in 1 week. but she's not getting the check until those 2 items are in my posession. maybe i should have done that a year ago and i wouldn't be in this predicament now.

oh and the electric bill is going up. i can't help that. i dont use any more or any less electricity than when i first moved in here. its not my fault that its cold and its winter time. Taranis bought us a energy efficient heater to use while we sleep and for in the morning and that's the only time we use it. No electricity is being used in his room because he's in here. she gets $300 from me and $300 from Taranis and she was getting an extra $300 from me because of the truck payment. I'd say that $900 amonth altho its down to $600 now its more than efficient for us. We chip in on laundry detergent which if necessary I'll buy just us some and lug it downstairs and back up when we're done. I've not bothered buying T.P. because the lastime I did it was the wrong brand/kind and so I gave up on that, I can't do anything right when it comes to these people.

question, if someone had a check for $300 bucks and all you had to do was write out a bill of sale, would you sit on your ass complaining about them wanting the bill of sale and title or would you write it out and hand it over so you could get your money that you claim you so desperatly need?

oh! Taranis really pissed Crystal off tho. He came home Saturday with a PlayStation3 instead of paying his rent. It was only the 7th/8th of december? And we dont have set schedules of payments. We don't have a lease, nothing like that. Basically its a free for all on when we want to pay is the way I see it. I've always tried to keep the peace and be nice and courteous by paying the truck payment 1st check and rent last check (which is the next month's rent in advance).

So yea, we have a PS3 now as well as the PS2. They were only going to give us 30 bucks for the PS2 so I said fuck this shit.

The Firm's Holiday Party: was pretty boring. Nothing really interesting happened except that one of the field guys got totally trashed way too early in the evening drinking double scotch & sodas like no tomorrow and getting escorted to a hotel room by one of the owners who paid for the hotel room and then he showed back up at the bar 10 mins later and wanted to start drinking again so the owner left after closing out our tab... basically ruined the whole night but it was kinda fun. The food was good. nothing remarkable.

Instead of going straight home I ended up at a coworker's house. He's a musician, guitarist and has his own band. Anyways, I stayed there for a few hours, til 11:30 at night. I didn't mean too. Just got lost in the music. Anyways, he gave me directions on how to get out of his subdivion (which was like 10 min drive from the bar we were at) and some how I got turned around and ended up comming out at Austin's Saloon upnorth which is 30 mins north of where I started from... *sigh* Thankfully I've been up there before and found my way back. It was nearly 1am by the time I got home and it wasn't intentional.

OK, so we're going on 3 hours now since I asked for the bill of sale & title. She's ate, laundry, talked on the phone, drank more wine, played with the dogs... nothing in regards to handing me over the bill of sale. That's fine. If the end of the month comes and I dont have those documents and I can't put new plates on the blazer & she has to pay extra because she had to renew the expedition plates, its not my fault.

*sigh* I guess I'm gonna start dinner and taranis can eat cold mac n cheese if he ever gets home from work.
