I finally got insurance, you all know that. Tomorrow I'm suppose to put a cd together that has all the songs I've sang with good audience response and songs that I want to sing as covers (temporarily til I get my voice out there and finish off the few songs I am writing)then I'm giving it to the band HeadRush and they will learn a few of them for me. Then we're giong to put a demo together on it. Lots of practice first, tho. This whole situation helps them AND me. They get to learn more songs more material that they otherwise wouldn't want to learn and I get a few gigs out of it to get my voice out there. As well as a demo for me to give to people.
Introducing HeadRush with special guest illusion
I'm planning a trip back home for father's day/my birthday weekend. At first I didn't think that I was going to beable to afford it now matter how much I skimped and starved myself but ALAS! June is a THREE 3 THREE pay period month! Its fate, its destiny! And that extra check falls RIGHT SMACK ON the weekend I'm taking off. Halefuckingluja! I am so stoked.
ALSO! I'm gonna have to make sure I take my laptop cuz Sneezy is having a limbs quest and it starts next weekend. I don't know if it'll run thru father's day or not, the end time has not been set yet but will soon.
ALSO! I've lost 7 lbs. Combination of not having any money to eat on (stuck with Peanutbutter sandwhiches & ramen noodles that I eat once a day when I get home from work --I have some applesauce I eat at work if I get too hungry)and walking is doing some good! *yay* 7 lbs in a week. That's pretty good, right?
Now, the whole key is this: When I get money again (which should hopefully be this check i'm finally caught up having the mechanic paid off now) not to go stupid again. Buy healthy foods and stay eating in moderation. I can do this! I have faith in myself. *takes a deep breath*
There was something else I was gonna talk about and I forgot what it was.
“...So do we pass the ghosts that haunt us later in our lives; they sit undramatically by the roadside like poor beggars, and we see them only from the corners of our eyes, if we see them at all. The idea that they have been waiting there for us rarely if ever crosses our minds. Yet they do wait, and when we have passed, they gather up their bundles of memory and fall in behind, treading in our footsteps and catching up, little by little.”--Stephen King
