yes I made a promise to you guys that if I thought I was pretty i'd let ya know, well I'm happy to report and you'll be happy to hear that for the past few days I have not had a negative thought towards myself in the regards of my apperance.
however lastnight as I was making my rounds I glanced outside and saw this girl and I was like "who's that? she's pretty" and then realized I was seeing my reflection off the glass.
and this morning I woke up and noticed how much slimmer I do look. I got compliments from my regular clients that they noticed my shirt looked baggy on me! *grin* and thought i'm 'glowing' and they said that regular excersize could make you glow like that. awesome, awesome.
i will admit tho, i wasn't a very good girl for the past few days. Thurs night I ordered Pizza from Dominos: Philly Cheesesteak Pizza and gods it was SO good and worth the cheating.
I can fit into clothes that I couldn't fit into a few months ago but could a few months before that BUT I havn't made it down to my "before I moved up here" weight when I could fit into those shorts from last summer and some of the clothes I was wearing a year ago.
I might not be doing the best for myself Foodwise, but I am excersizing and that's a big plus there. When I went shopping yesterday for groceries I was very meticulous about what I bought making sure it was low carb and low fat and low calorie. and since i don't have any money except what i put back for my trip to arkansas, i have no choice but to eat it or not go on my trip. Which, losing weight and going to my trip are two goals that I will meet & exceed.
and today, I feel pretty and think I am pretty. And more happy about my body and how it feels.
“...So do we pass the ghosts that haunt us later in our lives; they sit undramatically by the roadside like poor beggars, and we see them only from the corners of our eyes, if we see them at all. The idea that they have been waiting there for us rarely if ever crosses our minds. Yet they do wait, and when we have passed, they gather up their bundles of memory and fall in behind, treading in our footsteps and catching up, little by little.”--Stephen King

Slow steady weight loss by increasing exercise and improving diet (in a long term sustainable way - not fad or starvation dieting) is the best way to go; it is healthier and most likely to last. You should only be dropping a few to a handful of pounds a month (but over a number of months it adds up - or rather subtracts - quite nicely). Good to hear it. krm
ReplyDeletesince i've started this "life style" change by excersizing and trying to eat better i've been averaging about 5lbs a week or so. my roomate says thats too much too fast but i think its fine.
