down time

so what do you do with down time? i should be happy that i have a weekend that i'm not rushing and running, right? right?

guess not...

so what do you do with downtime? I checked my email, wrote my letters and still there is more time that I know what to do with. 2 jobs (plus the webdesign gig makes 3 i guess) and i have nothing to do?! I've kept my 'space' fairly clean this past week so I didn't need to clean. Did most of my laundry Thurs night instead of going out to sing so that's all taken care of. Drake's litter box is fine, was cleaned out yesterday. My bed is now a couch again (futon) to make more room for him & I. so that's helps me beable to keep things 'put away' less space for me to throw shit on, lol.

dont have any bills that need to be paid, that's next weekend. caught up on my webdesign stuff. don't need to tweak anything on mine, i'm pretty satisfied with all my website stuff for me. was gonna play around on myspace for a bit, but that doesn't seem like fun at all at the moment. figured i'd play sneezy for a bit, but by the time I get going it'd be time to quit and get ready for work, so that's not an option.

thought about reading my book, but then if I finished it I would have to start a new book and I wanna savor this one and keep it for work. A good crime novel is perfect for being by yourself! and that' what I am at the spa.

thought about studying my new tarot deck i bought a few weeks back, but something tells me now isn't the time to do anything with it so its sitting on my dresser in the bag I made for it..

oh, that's what I can do! I crochet'd a bag for my new tarot deck, I did a good job, I think! I used a multi-textured camo color for the yarn. Its a little long, but I like it cuz it adds its own personal 'flare' and style!



I'm also working on another one that is regular texture and navy blue.



I think I'm getting good at the whole crocheting thing. No where as good as Crystal is, but I'm improving! You should have seen my first attempt at making something, I unraveled it, it was pretty bad, lol. Crystal has a bunch of 'left over' yarn stuff that's not enough for big projects but for small stuff its good she's giving to me so I can do whatever I want with it. I figure eventually I might make this big comfortor/throw with all the diff colors i've used to make bags with. Cool huh? or no? I think it'd be awesome. But that's me! all the diff random textures and colors its going to be interesting to say the least and different. Probly huge too cuz I'll just keep adding and adding. Gonna take forever and it'll never be finished.

Well, its finally shower time and I guess I can always talk to yall when I have 'down' time, huh? Can't believe I didn't think of sharing my crocheting projects before now. Woot! New catagory! Crocheting projects :)
