1st of all, I got a job dispatching. That didn't last long cuz the lady is freaking crazy and nuts. She drove me crazy. The job itself wasn't bad, I dont know how the other people can stand her, but thats niether here nor there.
2ndly, I have told my manager time and time again " I don't speak spanish " and he keeps putting me somewhere I'm useless and can't do anything. So finally I asked him yesterday to NOT put me there ever again. Now, he tells me that my hours are getting cut. I asked Mars (who speaks spanish) if he'd trade locations with me and I asked Keith and Mars asked Keith and Keith said for me not to bother comming going in today. Thats fine. This morning I called up to Muskogee (corporate hq) and told Jugalo, the owner what was going on. He wasn't happy. Said that he'd be calling Kieth. Well, Keith calls Mars up and tells him to goto North "O" to have a "spanish" test done to test his spanish. (He never did that to me, just scheduled me there.) So, I havn't heard anything back. I dont know if I still have a job or not. I'm not really ready to find out if I've been canned. I'm hoping they would tell me if I was. So, I dont know what is going on.
So anyways, I'm tired and exhausted and the boys are sleeping and I'm hoping and praying that I still have a job. I love my work, I just dont like being put into a position to where I am uncomfortable.
“...So do we pass the ghosts that haunt us later in our lives; they sit undramatically by the roadside like poor beggars, and we see them only from the corners of our eyes, if we see them at all. The idea that they have been waiting there for us rarely if ever crosses our minds. Yet they do wait, and when we have passed, they gather up their bundles of memory and fall in behind, treading in our footsteps and catching up, little by little.”--Stephen King
