I learned this morning that Ellen Cannon Reed, a famous pagan author, and a dear friend to me, has passed.
Ellen was a brilliant author, and a wonderful friend. She helped me through some of the roughest moments of my illness. And now hers has taken her life.
Ellen died of Lukemia. An aweful and deadly form of cancer. She had a beautiful soul and will be missed for the rest of my days.
Ellen, may you soar on the wings of eagles, We love you.
Eternally and faithfully your friend

“...So do we pass the ghosts that haunt us later in our lives; they sit undramatically by the roadside like poor beggars, and we see them only from the corners of our eyes, if we see them at all. The idea that they have been waiting there for us rarely if ever crosses our minds. Yet they do wait, and when we have passed, they gather up their bundles of memory and fall in behind, treading in our footsteps and catching up, little by little.”--Stephen King
